How it works?

Vaser 4D is the great new solution giving a safe, minimally invasive, and effective alternative to traditional liposuction to give excellent body contouring and a more attractive silhouette. Vaser uses ultrasound to liquefy and then gently remove unwanted fat by aspiration (suction) and by natural excretion by the body. It is the only body sculpting treatment that has unique tissue-selective technology. This means that important structures around the treatment area (such as blood vessels, muscle and connective tissue) are only minimally affected by the procedure. This makes it considerably safer and less likely to lead to side-effects.

The Procedure

4D Vaser Liposuction is performed at one of our CQC accredited private clinics by a specialist cosmetic surgeon. Only a local anaesthetic is used on the area to be treated rather than a general anaesthetic, as with liposuction. The unique ultrasonic technology also actively tightens skin, giving you a toned appearance after the treatment. Treatments normally take between 45 and 90 minutes depending on the area to be treated and no overnight stay is required with the procedure. You can expect to see a change in your shape immediately after treatment, and this will improve week on week. But, the full effect won’t be visible for 3 to 6 months after your procedure.

Later Progress

After treatment, you may experience some bruising, swelling, redness and loose skin around the treatment area, but this will subside over the following weeks. Normally, paracetamol or other simple analgesia is sufficient for pain relief. We recommend that you have day or two of rest before resuming normal activities and we will advise you to wear a compression garment for two weeks after the procedure to help the healing process. Mild Swelling and Bruising
As the procedure is minimally invasive, you may experience mild bruising and swelling around the treated incision sites and areas where probes are inserted. However, it is likely to reduce in a few days.

Symmetry Discrepancies
Some patients may also experience symmetry discrepancies after the procedure. This is when it is important to necessitate follow-up treatments for refinement purposes.
